The next European Youth Olympic Days were held in Bath city of Great Britain. 2500 athletes from 47 countries participated in the Olympic Days held in Britain. Athletes participated in 9 sport disciplines (athletics, cycling, gymnastics, handball, judo, swimming, basketball, grass hockey, volleyball) for 87 medals. For this time in the non-official team competitions the first three place were occupied by Great Britain (41-27,10,7), Russia (27-12,8,7), Romania (23-8,8,7). Azerbaijani athletes also participated in the Olympic Games held in Bath, llham Mammadov performed in judo competitions in 60kg weight category and won silver medal.
