Today we gathered here in connection with very significant event - opening of new sportive-health complex.

Great meaning of this event for us is in the fact that this center is the first sportive creation that was built and introduced to the work by the National Olympic Committee. One year ago National Olympic Committee decided about construction some new modern sportive centers that meet world standards in Baku and other cities and regions of the Republic.

During one year we completed construction of this beautiful and modern sportive complex in Baku, on the same territory National Olympic Committee is building its administrative building. Olympic Committee has been functioning in Azerbaijan for more than seven years, but till today we do not have own building. In the nearest future we will gather at its opening.

Of course, the National Olympic Committee will not stop on the construction of this complex. New centers will be constructed in all regions of Azerbaijan. Sportive comples has already being built in Nakhichevan, in the nearest time construction of the same sportive complex will be started in Ganja.

We dream about creation of necessary modern conditions for going in for sport in every part of Azerbaijan.

Of course, e have to have champions of Europe and the world, we need Olympic champions and we have them, but at the same time we have to achieve mass character of the sport.

We want every teenager and every child in Azerbaijan to go in for sport, has high level in his physical preparing.

We need healthy youth, healthy nation, healthy people.

That is why I am calling all children, all youth to go in for sport.
