Construction of Barda Olympic Sportive Complex, which fundament was laid a year ago, finished. This complex is built by the personal initiative of the first vice-president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, Milli Majlis deputy, National Olympic Committee President Ilham Aliyev.

In the complex meeting all word standards it will be possible to conduct various competitions of any level. Large and beautiful park for the rest is built around the complex.

Over 30 thousand young sportsmen go in for various kinds of sport in Barda. Nearly hundred masters, candidates for the sport masters defend the sportive honor of the region.
